Meld — Privacy Policy
Meld is built so the app itself never has to be trusted with your answers — because it never sees them. This page explains exactly what that means in practice.
Everything you and your partner do inside Meld — names, sessions, answers, "Our list" — is saved only on your own device, using Apple's on-device storage. It is never uploaded to us or to any server we run, because we don't run one.
We use one outside service, RevenueCat, and only to process your purchase through Apple's App Store. It never sees your names or your answers.
Meld has no ad tracking, no analytics SDK, and nothing that identifies you to a third party. There is no account and no login.
Meld stores the following, using Apple's SwiftData framework, entirely on your device:
None of this data is synced to iCloud, sent to a server, or shared with anyone — including us. If you delete Meld, this data is deleted with it. Settings also gives you a direct way to clear "Our list" or delete everything Meld has stored, at any time.
To process the Meld Pass purchase through Apple's App Store, Meld uses RevenueCat to process purchases and verify your entitlement to premium content. This is the only data that travels off your device, and it's limited to what a purchase requires:
Meld is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 17.
If Meld's data practices change, this page will change with them, and the "Effective" date at the top will update. Practices that would add server-side storage, accounts, or tracking are not currently planned.
Questions about this policy or how Meld handles your information can be sent to luiza.garofalo@gmail.com.
